KAORU HITACHIIN
Series: Ouran High School Host Club I never thought I would cosplay from Ouran again. I love the series to death but the recent surge of Ouran cosplayers has stunned my desire to cosplay Haruhi for a while. When my friend Kayla asked me to cosplay the twins with her, I agreed to do it under the circumstance that she flew to Chciago for Acen! Well, she came to Acen. Not only that but she styled both of our wigs and lent me her spare jacket and tie so the costume was completely no-effort on my part. And holy cow I had WAY more fun than I thought I would! Unlike cosplaying Haruhi, the twins got a ton of love! We could hear people giggling as we walked past and because everyone loves the twins, we got a really positive response! Kayla and I got to take some fun, scandalous pictures that made both of us laugh and it was just a great time all around! I was also really surprised how much we looked alike! When we cosplayed as Ed and Al, we had several people point out our similarities but I never really saw the resemblance until now. It was really neat!
