ANIME MATSURI 2012 COSPLAY GUEST
SEPTEMBER 11, 2011
I come bearing good news - in 2012 I will be returning to Anime Matsuri as a Cosplay Guest! Last year, I was extremely fortunate to serve as a judge in Anime Matsuri’s cosplay competition and I am so happy to be back this year! I will be joined by the talented seamstress and performer SparklePipsi and prop master Bill Winans. AM is really a great con and I encourage everyone to check it out! At least take a look at their website because it's pretty dang sweet, IMO. Bye for now! Hopefully, I will be back with some Katsucon costume plans soon. So many costume ideas, never enough time..

NEW SITE
JULY 21, 2011
Welcome to the new site! It is very refreshing to have a new layout, as my last site went unaltered for almost two years. The layout isn't the only thing that's changed; I have added new content to almost every page. Five costumes have been added: Chell, Thage, Lizzie, Sealand and Emilia. I have also added two new skits, two con reports, and tons more. Please take a look around and let me know your suggestions!
My next convention isn't until February (Katsucon) so things will be quiet around here for a while. I will update my costume plans and a finalized con schedule ASAP. Hope you all are doing well - bye for now!

PORTAL
May 31, 2011
A lot has happened since my last post! In April, I attended Sakuracon and this past weekend I traveled to San Jose for Fanime. I will post reports for both cons but in the meantime, I wanted to post a link to our Portal skit from Fanime. We were very surprised to win the award for Best Dramatic Presentation but are even MORE shocked by the attention it has received online. It's absolutely nuts! So far the skit has been featured on G4's Attack of the Show, Kotaku and even MSNBC. If you would like to watch it, you can see it here

ANIME MATSURI 2011
March 27, 2011
Hi everyone - happy 2011! I just got back from my first con of the year, Anime Matsuri in Houston, TX. It was my first time in Texas and also my first time as a cosplay guest. I was surprised to learn that I really love judging and working behind the scenes and I hope I have the opportunity to do it again one day. Thank you to everyone at Anime Matsuri for the great memories and for making Krystal and I feel so welcome! Next up: Sakuracon! To see what I'm working on for the con, please check my updated Cosplay page. Bye for now!

GOODBYE 2010!
December 19, 2010
As the year comes to an end, I finally found the time to make some updates to the site. I attended Youmacon at the end of October and, as always, had a really fun time! To read about the con and see some photos of my newest costume (Sakura), please visit the Cons page. With Youmacon being the last con of the year, let me say thank you to everyone who made 2010 so fantastic. It was such a busy, challenging and rewarding year and I can't wait to see what 2011 brings. To read my "Year in Review" and see my plans for 2011, please visit my journal here.

BACK TO REALITY
September 6, 2010
It's been a while but so much has happened since my last update. From June until the end of July, my friend Krystal and I worked very hard to prepare for the World Cosplay Summit. We only had about 6 weeks to make our new costumes/performance so we had to pump through many sleepless nights. However, the hard work was completely worth it because we both had an incredible time! The WCS was everything I hoped for and I'm so lucky I was able to be a part of it. Now that I've been back for a while, I've had a chance to make some big site updates - please take a look around.

FANIME 2010
June 7, 2010
I am back from Fanime! I had an amazing time last year and an even better time this year! I got to spend 6 days with some of my favorite people and wore a ton of costumes. However, the most notable/emotional part of the weekend was the World Cosplay Summit preliminary competition. My friend Krystal and I dreamed of competing for WCS for years and we worked very hard to put together a performance for the con. By some miracle, we won! We were both BEYOND shocked. I am so honored to be a part of WCS and I will be posting any plans/progress to our Livejournal community, here.
